European Chamber Vice President Addresses GBA Roundtable Discussion Conference

On April 25th, Klaus Zenkel, Vice President of the European Chamber and the South China Board Chair, was invited by CCPIT Guangdong to participate in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) Business Development Roundtable Conference in Nansha District and deliver a keynote speech. The event commenced with opening remarks by Chen Xiaofeng, President of CCPIT Guangdong, and Xie Wei, Deputy Party Secretary of Nansha District.

During the roundtable discussion, Zenkel emphasised the importance of leveraging the unique advantages of enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to facilitate both "Bring In" and "Go Global" strategies. He pointed out the business environment in the GBA as one of the most favourable in China and highlighted extensive prospects for cooperation between European companies and local enterprises. Additionally, he proposed the extension of the recent visa-free policy to cover all 27 EU member states, suggesting it would further enhance business connectivity and collaboration within the GBA.
