October WG meeting followed by Shanghai AIC round-table

Dear F&B Working Group Member,
The EUCCC is pleased to invite you to the upcoming F&B Working Group meeting on Thursday 29th October. Please kindly note that this meeting will be taking place in EUCCC Shanghai premises with video conference set up with Beijing office.
Proposed Agenda:
1/ AML compliance (click here)– practical guidance for EUCCC meetings, attached for your reference.
2/ Debrief: visit of EU Commissioner for Health in China and her WG dinner with EUCCC in Sept; participation of F&B WG at the Brussels Circuit 09; communication with China Food Industry Association (CFIA) and China Chamber of Commerce For Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products(CCCFNA); follow-up on lobbying meeting request(s).
3/ Discussion & Update: European Chamber’s involvements at the EXPO 2010 and more ideas; EU-China Business Summit 09 and etc.
4/ Round-table starting from 10am (subject to last minute change): Our guest speaker Mr. CHEN Zuyao, Director of Food Supervision Sector, Shanghai Administration of Industry and Commerce(AIC), will be talking to the WG about the establishment of this new sector at Shanghai AIC, their role in general and their work on Food Safety. Mr.Chen would also be taking questions from the WG members after his presentation. Translation will be provided for this section.
