Mr. Peter Ling-Vannerus
Peter Ling-Vannerus is responsible for developing and managing the Bank’s Business in Northern China, as well as monitoring the political and economic development of China for SEB. He studied at INSEAD and Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
Ms. Rong Shang
Ms. Rong Shang
Shang Rong is Vice President of Communications & Government Affairs, Microsoft Asia-Pacific Research and Development Group (APRD). In this role, she is responsible for driving Microsoft's overall communications strategy and efforts in the Asia-Pacific region from the R&D perspectives, orchestrating internal and external integrated communications, media relations, and government affairs.
Shang Rong is a veteran of Corporate Communications and marketing scene for over 20 years.
She brings a wealth of knowledge with a unique combination of journalistic, agency and in-house experience. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2006, Shang Rong was the head of Corporate Communications of Cisco in China.
Ms. Xueying Xia
Ms. Xueying Xia
Kitty has over around 20 years’ experience at multi-national companies, with solid track record in the energy industry, from petrochemical, oil & gas, to power and electrical industry. She has with both conventional energy sector, and new/integrated energy sectors.
She has deep understanding of the digital transformation of energy management and manufacturing industry. She has accumulated expertise from various roles including business development, strategy and integration, government and partner affairs, public policy advocacy, corporate communications and campaigns, and CEO thought leadership. More importantly, she has adequate understanding of China political and social ecosystem with first-hand experience in business access, capital project investment, operational issues of challenges, with key government agencies and business partners.
Mr. Henry Xu
Mr. Henry Xu
As Director at the Government Affairs and Social Impact function with Starbucks China, Henry’s role is to craft and implement policy advocacy strategy for central level regulatory topics as well as for the enhancement of policy spaces of social impact efforts, which supports Starbucks’ business growth in China and protects and elevates the Starbucks brand in the long-term.
Henry currently also serves as the Beijing CSR Forum Chair of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (European Chamber). Also as the senior member of the Secretariat of Beijing Starbucks Foundation, Henry is instrumental to build up positive relations with broader stakeholders in CSR and sustainability fields including government agencies, trade associations, think-tanks, and NGOs, for the grand opening of first Starbucks Greener Store Lab, as well as for Starbucks brand to play leadership roles in the CSR Working Committee of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI) and the Sustainable Consumption Roundtable of China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA). He holds the ‘CFA Certificate in ESG Investing’, issued by the CFA Institute.
Ms. Xiaolu CHEN
Ms. Xiaolu CHEN
Ms. Chen Xiaolu serves Volkswagen Group China for 15 years: In 2009, she started her professional career in Volkswagen as a management trainee. In 2011, she moved to group R&D and worked as regulation expert and then took over regulation governance role to steer and represent VW Group interest by collaboration with regulatory stakeholders.
Since 2022, she has been Senior Manager of government affairs, responsible for sustainability topics, including climate change, environment, circular economy, new energy vehicle topics. She has rich experiences on policy and regulation, and established broad network with Chinese governments, auto and value chain industries think-tanks, associations and institutions.
She plays as lead expert of auto industry to present positions to Chinese policymakers and also works as one of China auto industry’s representatives for Global Technical Regulation(GTR) harmonization in WP29 of UNECE and Sino-EU, SinoGerman conversations. Ms. Chen Xiaolu has a Master degree in Marketing at Peking University and Bachelor degree in Environment Engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University.
